BLINDSPOTS:
Movie Reviews for Visually Impaired People

"Michael," rated "PG," with a running time of a little less than two hours, stars John Travolta, William Hurt, Andie MacDowell and Robert Pastorelli. Hurt and Pastorelli play a reporter and photographer from a trashy tabloid, who are sent to get the story about a real angel, staying at some motel in Iowa. Arc angel Michael, played by Travolta, turns out to be a real angel all right. But his antics turn out to be a whole lot less than angelic.

At any rate the reporters, along with a female "spy" sent from the paper, attempt to bring Michael back to Chicago by car. However, strange things keep happening along the way.

From the visually impaired point of view, this movie was pleasant and mostly enjoyable. There were a few scenes where a sighted assistant was needed, especially during the two "battle" scenes. But the characters were not hard to follow and the movie went at a reasonable pace, without abruptly jumping to flashbacks or confusing changes. I'll give this movie a 6. It's not a profound movie, but one you probably will enjoy.
